A derisive term used when a player shows fear and retracts from battle. Usually used in the plural in this instance as in “that player has no balls”. Sometimes used to describe an illegal delivery due a bowler overstepping the bowling crease or any other number of Peter the cheater style deliveries such as a full toss aimed at the batters thinking department (also called a “beamer” or “widow maker”).
